BREAKING NEWS: Phnom Penh’s High-Risk Businesses Remain Closed for Another Two Weeks

Phnom Penh: The Phnom Penh Capital Administration announced on Friday afternoon that high-risk businesses will remain closed for a further 14 days. This comes after last week’s announcement by Phnom Penh Governor, Mr. Khuong Sreng, that their closure would continue “until further notice”.

The latest extension to the suspension of high-risk businesses takes effect at midnight Friday and will run through Friday 23 July. It affects gyms, schools, KTVs, bars and beer gardens, massage parlours, casinos, cinemas and museums. Any gatherings of more than 15 people continue to be prohibited as well.
